SSARvent — Deleting your account and data
Your account exists only on your device
SSARvent accounts are local to the device where you created them. The account (email address, display name, role, sign-in method and, for email accounts, a salted password hash) is stored encrypted on that device only. The Publisher stores no account data on any server — SSARvent has no servers — so there is nothing to delete on our side and no request to send. You delete your account and your data yourself, in the App, at any time.
Android
- Delete only your account: open Settings (gear icon on the home screen) › Account › Delete my account, then confirm. Your account, its Google/Microsoft links and all your sessions are removed from the phone.
- Delete everything: Settings › Privacy and data › Delete all data, then confirm. Every session, report, account, API key and setting on the phone is removed and SSARvent starts fresh.
iOS (iPhone)
- Delete only your account: open the Settings tab in SSARvent › Account › Delete account, then confirm. Your account and all your sessions are removed from the iPhone.
- Delete everything: Settings tab › Privacy and security › Delete all data, then Delete everything. All sessions, accounts, API keys and settings are removed from the iPhone.
Windows
- Delete only your account: in the SSARvent window open Settings › Account › Delete account,
confirm with your password (or type
DELETEfor an account without a password), then confirm. Your account and the meetings you started with it are removed from the PC. - Delete everything: Settings › Privacy and data › Delete all data (administrator account only),
then confirm. All meetings, accounts and the stored API keys are removed, and your
context.mdnotes are emptied. - Uninstalling: Windows Settings › Apps › Installed apps › SSARvent › Uninstall. Uninstalling
also removes the App's data: the local accounts database (
users.db), your API key settings (.env) and the app state. Your saved meetings (themeetingsfolder) and yourcontext.mdnotes are kept on purpose; if you want them removed too, delete them by hand from the SSARvent install folder (by default%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\SSARvent) after uninstalling.
Signing in with Google, Microsoft or Apple
When you choose "Continue with Google", "Continue with Microsoft" or Sign in with Apple, the provider only confirms who you are. SSARvent receives your account identifier, name and email address and stores them only on your device, in your local account; it does not keep the provider's access tokens. Deleting your SSARvent account as described above removes that data. You can also revoke SSARvent's access at the provider:
- Google: your Google Account › Security › Your connections to third-party apps & services (https://myaccount.google.com/connections) › SSARvent › Delete all connections / remove access.
- Microsoft: your Microsoft account › Privacy › Apps and services (https://account.live.com/consent/Manage) › SSARvent › Remove these permissions. For a work or school account, use https://myapps.microsoft.com or ask your administrator.
- Apple: on your iPhone, Settings › [your name] › Sign-In & Security › Sign in with Apple › SSARvent › Stop Using Apple ID (or at https://account.apple.com › Sign-In and Security › Sign in with Apple).
Uninstalling
Uninstalling SSARvent from Android or iOS removes all of its local data (accounts, sessions, API keys and settings)
from the device. On Windows, uninstalling removes the accounts, API keys and app state, but not the meetings folder or
context.md (see above); delete those by hand if you want them removed.
AI provider accounts
Your accounts with AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) are separate from SSARvent. Text you sent to them is handled under their terms; manage or delete those accounts and API keys on the providers' websites.
